As he continues to win the Saudi top scorer honor, Cristiano Ronaldo shares a mysterious message concerning his future.

After another goal-scoring performance, Cristiano Ronaldo posted a mysterious message on social media, casting doubt on his future.

The Portuguese player scored a goal on Monday as Al Nassr fell to Al Fateh 3-2 on the last day of the Saudi Pro League season. Ronaldo’s Al Nassr secured a position in the AFC Champions League for the following season by finishing the season in third place, 13 points behind champions Al Ittihad.

Ronaldo maintained his position as the season’s top scorer with his 25th league goal.

But following the game, the 40-year-old sent a mysterious message on social media, raising speculations about where he will be playing next season.

“This is the end of this chapter. The narrative? It is still in progress. With a photo of himself wearing his Al Nassr uniform, Ronaldo said, “Thanks to everyone.”

Ronaldo has made 105 games and scored 93 goals since joining Al Nassr in 2022.

At the end of this season, his contract will expire, allowing him to sign with any team he wants.

Last week, Spanish publication Marca revealed that Ronaldo had received an offer from an unidentified Brazilian team to play in the redesigned FIFA team World Cup, which is taking place in the United States this summer.

The Brazilian teams that are competing in the event are Botafogo, Fluminense, Flamengo, and Palmeiras.

According to a source who spoke to Reuters last week, Wydad Casablanca, a Moroccan team, refuted claims that it was also hoping to get Ronaldo for the Club World Cup.

“There was nothing more than a friendly conversation between Wydad’s president and an agent close to Ronaldo,” a source told Reuters.
